QUALIFYING DRESSAGE ENTRIES

(Please note there will be no non-qualifying classes)

BEFORE ENTERING ANY CLASSES PLEASE READ THE BRC 2011 RULE BOOK

• All qualifying classes must be entered on the correct forms available on www.bhs.org.uk - click on British Riding Clubs. Send £25, per team, directly to BRC head office and £50, per team, with your completed forms, to DFRC entries secretary. Pre-entries must be received by BRC head office at Stoneleigh by 7th October.
• Team entries limited to 2 teams per club unless by special arrangement by phone with Entries' secretary before the 3rd Oct. Limited places available
• 1 helper per team to be provided. NO HELPER, NO TEAM ENTRY.
• 2 Prelim & 2 Novice competitors per team - the best 3 scores count.
• Closing date for entries 7th Oct 2011.
• Closing date for team alterations 25th Oct by 6pm (Tel: 01928 710802)
• NO TEAM ALTERATIONS ON MORNING OF COMPETITION
• Rosettes to 6th place


QUALIFYING CLASSES:

Saturday 29th Oct - Prelim Dressage classes: test Prelim 18 (2002)
Sunday 30th Oct - Novice Dressage classes: test Novice 24 (2010)

This competition will be run in accordance with British Riding Club rules. DFRC., the judges, stewards and any other officials accept no responsibility for any loss of or damage to competitors, their property, horses, servants or spectators. 

Health & Safety – reasonable precautions will be taken at the even to ensure the health and safety of persons present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precaution to avoid & prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CLUB CHEF D' EQUIPE & COMPETITORS

• All horses attending this show must have an Equine Influenza certificate in accordance with the rules in the 2011 BRC Rule book.
• Helpers - each club will be required to provide one helper per team. Volunteers are always welcome.
• Correct dress must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
• Only the competitor may ride the horse/pony on the showground.
• All entries must be in writing on the correct entry form.
• All clubs must appoint a Chef D'equipe who should make themselves known to the secretary with contact details. They should also accompany any competitor when making an objection or complaint to the official steward(s).
• No horse boxes or trailers are to be mucked out whilst on the showground and any droppings must be cleared up and either taken home or put on the muck heap.
• No dogs please.
• No horses or ponies are to be left unattended & tethered to vehicles. A competent person must be in charge of all equines whilst on the showground.
• No haynets to be tied up outside vehicles. (This is a landowner priority)
• BRC Area 20 Health & Safety policy will apply to this event. It will be displayed at the event Secretary's office on the showground. Everyone attending must agree to abide by this policy.

DIRECTIONS TO FOREST GATE FARM

Leave the M6 at junction 19, taking the A556 towards Chester. Turn right onto the B5152 at the Abbey Arms Pub. Continue along this road, passing through Delamere Forest. Once you have passed The Carriers Inn and Hatchmere Lake on your left take the next turning on your right into Forest Lane. Forest Gate Farm is the first property on the left.

Please note some parking may be on the field opposite the drive, stewards will direct you accordingly. Parking is limited so please park considerately.

We regret that food and drinks will not be provided for helpers but refreshments are available on site to buy. Please come prepared with clothing for all eventualities weather-wise!
