Entries on the day - Entry fee £10.00 for classes 1,2, & 3

Plus £2.00 towards medical cover

All other classes £13.00 per class plus £2.00 donation per

competitor towards the cost of the ambulance

Rosettes to 6th place

Classes 1 2 & 3—Genuine beginners and novice riders and/ or

young or inexperienced ponies/horses

To be run over an entirely separate course

Classes 4 5 & 6—Novices only

Classes 7 8 & 9–Open

A refundable deposit of £1. 0 is payable on collection of number cloth.

Course available for walking at any time the previous day.

Outside assistance may be given in classes 1 2 & 3 i.e. competitors may be

helped or led over any obstacle which causes a problem.

There will be a timed section on the course but there will be no time limit on

the whole course.

No stop watches allowed.

Competitors will be allowed to continue after three refusals provided they

are careful not to obstruct competitors coming up behind them.

Judging will be in accordance with Hunter Trial Rules.

BHS/PC Approved riding hats must be worn at all times when mounted and

All riders must wear effective body protectors.

Fixed peak riding hats are not permitted for cross country.

In accordance with Insurance requirements medical armbands must beworn by all competitors. A limited number will be available for purchase on the day.

Commencing at 10 am PROMPT - over separate course

Fences approx. 2 ft or 60cms

Class 1. Beginners and novice riders aged 12 years and under

Class 2 Beginners and novice riders aged 13 to 30 years

Class 3 Beginners and novice riders aged over 30 years .

Commencing at 9.30 prompt—over main course

Fences approx. 2ft 3ins or 70 cms

Class 4 Novice Rider aged 12 years and under.

Class 5 Novice Rider aged 13 to 30 years.

Class 6 Novice Rider aged over 30 years.

Not before 1.00pm—over main course

Fences approx. 2ft 6ins to 2ft 9ins or 80 –85 cms

Class 7 Intermediate. Rider 16 years and under.

Class 8 Intermediate. Rider aged over 16 years.

Class 9 Open

Fences up to maximum of 3 ft or 1 metre

Divided into Junior and Senior if sufficient entries

Neither the organisers nor any other person acting on their

behalf accept any liability for loss, damage, accident or illness to any horse,

rider, spectator or any other person or property whatsoever.

Health and Safety

The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the

health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective,

everyone involved must themselves take all reasonable precautions to avoid

and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of Officials

and Stewards.

Directions to venue from Oswestry, Welshpool areas

Llanymynech village is situated mid way between Oswestry and Welshpool

on the main A483. Lower House Farm, the home of the Radford family, is

just under one mile from the village of Llanymynech on the Knockin road

Directions from Shrewsbury area

Follow the A5 towards Oswestry. At the end of the Nesscliffe By Pass,at

the Wolfs Head roundabout, take a left turn to Knockin. In the village of

Knockin take 2nd turn left, on the B4398 signed Llanymynech. Venue approx.

3 miles along that road.

Ample flat parking is available.

Dogs must be kept on short leads at all times.
