Run under British Riding Clubs Rules as published at the time of the competition. Rules available from 2012 rule book and as published on line at http://www.britishridingclubs.co.uk/


Competitors and their respective clubs are entirely responsible for ensuring that they abide by the current rules on eligibility and flu vaccination requirements. All must abide with the Event Health & Safety Plan.

No abuse to officials, stewards or volunteers will be tolerated and any person disregarding this notice will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and children must be supervised.

Entries must be made on official entry forms as published by British Riding Clubs.



PRELIM ENTRIES TO BRC STONELEIGH BY 5th April 2012

Changes and substitutes at the discretion of the Organiser and not after 17:00 hrs Tuesday, 24th April 2012  


Times published after 18:00 hrs Thursday, 26th April 2012 on Area web site.


Each club will be required to provide helpers at a ratio of 2 per team or every 4 individuals subject to entries received.
Clubs will be eliminated if they do not provide helpers for their allocated area on the day, with no refund of entry fees.


A nominated Chef D'Equipe (Club Representative) will be nominated by each club and must be available to liaise with the Organiser or Official Steward as required in person on the day of the competition.


Clubs must declare teams and individuals on supplied declaration forms along with current membership numbers of those competing 30 minutes before the start of the relevant section.

All competitors are required to confirm they are included on the BRC database as current members and produce membership cards when attending the hat and body protector check.


G22.2: Protective headgear - At all BRC Championships and Qualifiers 'Protective Headgear' must show a visible BRC hat tag. Competitors must allow additional time to have their hat tagged if not already done. BE and Pony Club tags are not accepted.



The Course (HX2.4)


The course will consist of 7-10 Show Jumping obstacles followed by 15-28 Cross Country Jumping Efforts.

The Festival of the Horse Challenge is a test of the ability of a pony/horse and the rider to negotiate a show jumping course together with a cross-country course.

Entries should be made using area entry sheets downloaded from http://www.britishridingclubs.org.uk/ and returned as per entry instructions in line with closing dates published in this schedule.
A list of helpers MUST also accompany the area entry form to the organiser on a separate piece of paper with any specific requests.


Please note this competition will run under 2012 rules so clubs must ensure eligibility of their competitors.
